Various old splits and chips. All legs with glue and nail repairs where they meet the body of the table. Glue reside and nails visible to the corners of the frieze adjacent to where the legs join. Filler has been applied to help disguise. Late supporting blocks have been applied to the back/tops of the legs to help secure. Some of the 'ears' to the tops of the legs are later replacements. Section of replacement timber to the shaped lower section of one side. Handles are possibly original, or are period replacement using the same holes.Fading to timber. Later supporting blocks to the interior of the carcass. Evidence of old worm to interior of carpet. One of the tips of the shaped frieze of the front has been re-glued.
