The left hand section has had a small section of veneer refitted. This is visible. The front three legs are all in good order with no movement at the joints. The rear gate leg has had a break at the top and an old screwed and spliced repair using the original timber. It is structurally sound. The hinges that hold the flap in place whilst old appear to be later as there is evidence of a previous hinge. It is possible that the top does not match the base, however we are really not sure about this. The colour of the table is in our opinion reasonably good but is certainly not dark Cuban mahogany in colour but slightly lighter and more walnut to look at.
