A group of 19thC Parian and bisque figures, comprising a Bing and Grondahl bisque figure of a shepherd, after Bertel Thorvaldsen, 22cm wide, further figure of a recumbent youth, 25.5cm wide, Royal Copenhagen bisque porcelain figure of a Adonis, 31cm high, French bisque porcelain group with a brass base mount, 12cm high, and a table lamp, modelled as a classical figure, standing with her arms crossed, with an embossed brass candle holder and circular base, 46cm high. Book 1 - edited by Reverend J. M. Lelen: Bride's Manual, Catholic Devotions with Mass for the Marriage Ceremony and The Nuptial Blessing; published 1962. The book is in fair condition. The outer binding has clear age and wear, but the inside pages are in really nice condition. There is a gold tone latch to keep the book closed and white fabric bookmark. The front cover is off white and features a cross in gold leaf with a gold outline. The inside has a cutout with a small gold metal figure of Jesus on the Cross. This missal contains 520 gold gilt edged pages of instruction, 120 pages of Epistles and Gospels, and some color pictures. There is a Table of Contents and a Table of Movable Feasts. In the front of the book is a place to put in information from the marriage certificate. Book 2 - John Milner: Golden Key of Heaven, a Manual of Prayer; published c. 1900. The book is in poor condition due to age and use. Condition: Age related wear.
Beautiful conquistador stirrup from a saddle. The brass has a very nice patina. Traditionally used for horseback riding, this piece makes an excellent wall or table decoration.
