A 19th Century Continental pottery table lamp, the pale green ground decorated in gilt with chinoiserie, raised on stylised bird and paw feet, 35 cm high excluding light fitting CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear, scuffs and scratches, feet to base are loose and wobbly and one foot broken off and has various old glue remnants where it has previously been repaired, quite a few chips and losses around this area also to the ceramic, appears to have been previous alterations to one of the feet with extra washers added and various deteriorated rubber blocks, etc., lamp is not wired up, some knocks and chips throughout, some flaking to decoration and rubbing and scuffs to decoration, tarnish to fitments.
A Malby's terrestrial table-top globe on stand, inscribed "Malby's 37 Parker Street London January 1st 1857", the whole raised on a turned column with circular turned base CONDITION REPORTS Diameter of globe approx. 12 cm. Diameter of stand/base approx. 13 cm. Globe with generally quite a lot of yellowing and browning to the surface, appears to have a glazed/varnished finish which has quite a lot of craqueleur, quite a few knocks, chips and scuffs to the surface, small split near the lower hole to the Antarctic Continent where the metal supporting bracket fits into the globe approx. 5 cm long, some dirt, and flaking to surface, wood base with quite a lot of scuffs and losses to finish and metal supporting bracket with some knocks and dents.

A set of five George II Scottish silver three pronged table forks "Old English" pattern, bearing "Hope", globe and crown motif, inscribed "At Spec Infracta" (by Kerr & Dempster with Hugh Gordon Assay Masters mark, Edinburgh 1751), together with one associated white metal three prong table fork, 12.45 oz (including weight of white metal table fork) (6) CONDITION REPORTS PLEASE NOTE REVISED CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION - this Lot comprises a set of five table forks plus one white metal associated table fork (not hallmarked). Overall with wear, scuffs and scratches, various scuffs and mis-shaping to the prongs. One fork is white metal and is a lighter weight than the others, and appears to have been re-made/re-configured and the moulding of the prongs is different, also the hallmarks to this fork may have been removed or these may now simply be rectangular indentations to simulate the patterning of hallmarks, inscription and crown to the reverse of this particular fork is also much crisper than the others.
