An Indo-Portugese tortoiseshell and ivory small table cabinet, with silver coloured metal corner mounts, escutcheon and side handles, with a hinged fall revealing an arrangement of six drawers, the central deep drawer with a secret drawer behind, 18th century, 5.5in (14cm) h, 8.25in (21cm) w, 6.25in (16cm) d. General wear, minor losses to ivory, 5 pieces present, repair to base where the hinges meet.
A 19th century satinwood octagonal work table, with a central burr yew oval panel and kingwood cross banding with stringing above a frieze drawer on square tapering legs with carved insets rosewood leaf feet, 28.75in (73cm) h, 25.25in (64cm) w, 20.25in (51cm) d. Central panel possibly replaced.

The lock has been removed and is stamped `CT LINKE SERRURERIE PARIS`, one sabot is off and is initialled `FL`.

Top cracked, part of one foot missing.

(6) This suite of furniture was made c.1944 in India, by the vendor`s father an Architect with the Royal Engineers.
