Kleiner skulpturaler ZapplerTischuhr mit Vorderzappler in üppiger skulpturaler Ausformung in Dekor einer blühenden Topfpflanze mit Insekten. Mitte 19. Jh. Federzugwerk mit Spindelgang. Vorderpendel mit Dekorornament einer aufgesetzten Fliege. Zifferblatt versilbert, römische Stunden. Reiche und sehr detailliert gearbeitete Blechornamentik, vergoldet und versilbert, mit Türkis-, Granat- und Amethystbesatz. Glasdom. H ges. 23 cm. Funktion nicht geprüft. Zifferblatt berieben. Small table clock in rich ornamental design of a blooming flower pot with insects. So-called Zappler, mid 19th century. Wind-up movement. Front pendulum with small fly. Dial with roman hours, silver overlay. Rich detailled tin ornaments, gilt and with silver overlay as well as added turquoises, garnets and amethysts. Dome. Function not tested. Dial rubbed.
A Jacobean design oak side table, fitted two carved moulded front drawers with knob handles, on bulbous turned front legs, united by a platform shelf, 76cm high x 122cm wideCondition report – There are scratches, dents, scars, and scuffs, considered to be manufactured to give these reproduction pieces an old look, there is some wear around the handle back plates, the handles have been loose and moved around causing subsequent wear.
A Jacobean design oak side table, panel front moulded drawers with brass pear drop handles, platform shelf below, 82.5cm high x 133cm wideCondition report – There are several scratches, dents, scars, and scuffs, which I considered to be manufactured to give the reproduction piece an ‘old’ look, there is a scratch to the top, front left which I think is newer, also the side panels of dresser / table are split either side.
An Elizabethan design oak refectory dining table, scroll moulded frieze, on reeded & carved cup & cover supports, united by H frame stretcher, 79cm high x 96cm wide x 244cm longCondition report – Table sticks out 22cm at the ends, 2-3cm at the sides, table skirt / frieze is 13cm deep, the distance between the end supports, the most protruding bulbous bit of cup & cover is 59cm. There is some separation of planks of top, also the ‘end tips’ at one end quite a big gap, there are ‘aging’, scuffs, dents, but also subsequent scratches, some wear of use to the edges, and some splits, appears flat to me.
