The interior with mirror set to the lid with both hanging and easel attachments to the reverse and with an incredibly extensive main section containing approximately one hundred items, each with plain and Anthemion border, comprising an oval basin, teapot with horse head spout, silver gilt mounted glass cream jug, shaving jug with detachable handle and cover, six various silver gilt mounted circular glass toilet jars (one cover associated), a pair of silver gilt mounted square glass toilet jars, a pair of silver gilt mounted oblong glass toilet jars, two silver gilt mounted glass ink bottles, a silver gilt table fork, spoon and pair of teaspoons, a pair of gilt ceramic tea cups and saucers, and an assortment of implements, in silver gilt, mother of pearl, steel, wood, and ivory, width of case 46cm, weighable silver approx 42ozt.Additional InformationMarks on basin legible, marks on teapot and cream jug are clear although handle possibly resoldered to jug, marks overall clear, handles slightly pushed in on shaving jug and short scratch to the cover, one jar as mentioned with different maker's mark, large jar cover has a couple of small dents to flange meaning the lid is ill fitted, one jar has the threaded neck part lacking, slight pitting to the knife blades, slight crack to ivory of needle case, tiny cartouche lacking from handle from one manicure instrument and some rust to the mounts of the toilet kit, two small splits to the box itself with light surface wear elsewhere, one of the porcelain cups is chipped.

CHAWNER & CO; a Victorian hallmarked silver twelve setting table service, with gilded handles each having cast scrolling decoration, London 1853, the blades by John Sanderson & Son, Sheffield 1909, fitted in mahogany case.Additional InformationLength of knife 21cm, length of fork 18.2cm. The blades are obviously replacements but do suit the style of the knife handle well, the blades are silver as well as the handle, the fork tips and handles are also silver. General surface wear throughout, very minor impact dints but generally good condition. One knife handle is a little bit loose from the blade, two fork handles are slightly loose from the tips.
A platinum and diamond solitaire ring with central princess cut diamond weighing 1.52cts, with sixteen further diamond chips to the shoulders, size N/O, approx 4.95g.Additional InformationWhilst we cannot comment on the colour and clarity to gem standards, when you look through the table of the ring there is a single noticeable inclusion. The stone is drawing slightly yellow, but this is being ultra-critical, there are no pique flaws visible with either the naked or with an 8x loop.
