A late 18th century small-bodied parlour guitar by Francois Roudhloff, with ebony neck and fretboard, spruce top with maple back and sides, the table with mother-of-pearl dart inlay around the sound hole and edges, solid headstock with rosewood tuning pegs, stamped F.Roudhloff inside, with additional label inscribed 'Repaired by Johanning & Ferry, 14 Titchborne St. Piccadilly', overall length 36.5in (93cm), with associated carrying case.Top (sound board) has some fine splits in the upper quarter and heavier splits between the sound hole, under the bridge to the bottom. Bridge has a horizontal split through the pins. Sides appear sound with no obvious splits but signs of cleaning/restoration. There are three small screw holes above the strap button. Back has surface scratches throughout. Neck good and straight. Fretboard and headstock appear good. Playable but needing new 4th string. Good volume, resonance and sustain.
Taxidermy: A Victorian peacock (Pavo cristatus), perched on a birch branch, set on an associated brass column above a mahogany baluster stem raised on four carved scroll feet, 213cm high (bird approx. 165cm beak to tail tip).The bird is in fair condition with some fading to the plumage, the head at something of an angle - would benefit from a sensitive restoration. The base is associated and a confection of birch branch, brass pole and a mahogany centre table pedestal, of relatively recent construction. Condition fair with some scratching to the pole and some splits to the lower part of the base stem.
A George III style mahogany twin-pedestal dining table, late 20th century, comprising two D-ends and two additional leaves, the top with reeded edge supported on twin turned stems above moulded sabre legs capped with brass casters, 111.5cm wide x 304cm long (fully extended) x 71cm high.Generally good condition throughout. Some minor cosmetic marks in places and a few small scratches to the top - not disfiguring. No warping of the leaves.
An early 19th century rosewood veneered sofa table, the moulded top above one faux and one working frieze drawer on each side, cock-beaded and with turned handles, one fitted with four drop-in tin cannisters, raised on dual-end rectangular supports united by a plain stretcher above conforming umbrella-form legs, terminating in brass caps and casters, 166cm wide (92cm closed) x 61cm deep x 66cm high.Flaps warped. Lacking some mouldings. Top slightly faded. Some old restorations, including top with central fillet. Ebonised moulded edge worn on central section. Lacking small sections of veneer, including .5cm piece above one drawer.
A Victorian mahogany adjustable reading table, the moulded rectangular top on a ring-turned baluster stem with adjustment wheel, set on a kidney-shaped base raised on short turned toupie feet, 79cm wide x 49cm deep x 70-94cm highSome scratches to the top and evidence of repair to a split. Chipping and losses to the veneer at the bottom edge of the frieze. Block attachment is in need of re-setting as the table top has a noticeable lean. Adjustment mechanism works well. Base has some veneer losses to the top edge and some general cosmetic marks consistent with age and use. Probably missing casters.
An Edwardian inlaid rosewood writing table, the shaped top with pen box and inset leather skiver, the front edge inlaid with an urn patera, above a frieze drawer with conforming inlay, raised on tapering square-section supports united by a moulded board stretcher, 91cm wide x 50.5cm deep x 85cm high, writing surface 70cm high.Generally good overall. There is some splitting and lifting of the veneer on the right side towards the back, on the opposite side there is some lifting and a small loss to the line inlay. Structurally sound. Minor cosmetic marks consistent with age and use overall.
A mid-20th century McIntosh teak extending dining table, with concealed folding centre leaf, the tonneau-shape top raised on tapering supports, labelled A.H.McIntosh & Co Ltd, Kirkaldy, Scotland, 83.5cm wide x 193com lo g extended (147.5cm closed) x 74cm high, together with six teak ladder-back dining chairs, seat height 46cm. (7)Table top has some minor cosmetic marks including a small cup ring to the outer leaves. The inner folding leaf appears good and barely used. Minor cosmetic marks to the legs. All chairs are sturdy and have only minor signs of age and use. Upholstery fabric appears to be original.
A large pine refectory type dining table, the plain top above a plain frieze, raised on turned knopped supports united by square section stretchers, 101cm wide x 252cm long x 77cm high.Custom made from timbers reclaimed from Madeley Methodist Church by James Fiddler in 1987.Significant cosmetic marks to the top including general marks and scratches and some areas of varnish wear. The legs and stretchers have a good degree of scuffing, a few chips and varnish wear. Two of the legs have splits, one of which the maker/carpenter has dowelled to ensure stability, but are not structurally problematic.

Condition - base with glued repair to central cross stretcher, otherwise ok, general wear including minor chips, scratches etc., slight play in joints to base, top with a couple of slight hairlines but it very much appears 'solid' still.
