A Quartetto Nest of Chinese Hardwood Tables, early 20th century, of graduated rectangular form with moulded tops, each decorated with a pierced apron of birds and flowers, on horseshoe form legs joined by humpback stretchers, the largest 42cm by 34cm by 70cmLargest table structurally OK however with some shrinkage to the top (see images). Split to the carved apron on the side. Second largest table - joints slightly loose. Two smallest labels structurally OK.
A Fine Victorian Burr Walnut and Marquetry Inlaid Oval Breakfast Table, circa 1870, the quarter-veneered top with trailing foliage above a wavy shaped frieze, on a turned and carved support with four cabriole legs, scrolled toes and castors, 137cm by 103cm by 74cm Good quality timber and generally in very good cosmetic condition with the exception of some slight surface scratches on the table opening up very slightly on the side (see images). Base is also good with some small repairs to the veneer (see images).

However there are still some surface scratches (some deep). Nice quality base with carved detail in good condition.

The removable leaves with some general surface scratches (these leaves are later in date). The table has four removable brass brackets which can be added to adjust the height of the table (see images). The cloth and the remainder of the table is in excellent cosmetic condition.
