A CHINESE SCHOLARS TABLE BRONZE CENSER, CHEN QIAOSHENG MARK, 20TH CENTURY. Of rounded form with twin elephant head handles. Mark to base reading 'Chen Qiaosheng zhi'. 11cm wide including handles. Weight 410 grams.Good overall condition with no signs of damage or repair. Surface wear throughout to note.

The first tinned/silvered and of octagonal section, pierced with shaped flowerheads to the border the centre densely cast with flowers and tendrils 61.5cm wide, the second of five pointed medallion shape in copper, pierced with scrolls and interlocking foliage 73cm diam. and the small circular dish pierced with crescents and cast with dense flowers and tendrils 27cm diam.The large tray/table top with tinned finish - some wear to tin finish and copper visible, suspended for hanging. The copper star-medallion shaped tray and the small dish with some minor wear, the dish adapted with hook for hanging.

The tile mounted in a wood frame on a carved and pierced stand. Porcelain tile approx. 40cm x 30cm.Tile in good overall condition. Frame missing on foot and one pierced side panel has detached.
A PAIR OF 19TH CENTURY CHINESE PORCELAIN BLUE AND WHITE 'DOUBLE HAPPINESS' GINGER JARS ADAPTED AS TABLE LAMPS. Painted with lotus and scrolling leafy tendrils centred by Shou characters, each on wooden stands, with pleated cream shades, adapted for electricity, 45cm high. (2)Each of good decorative appearance. Each lacking cover and drilled to underside of base for electricity cable, each with minor chipping to upper rim concealed beneath light fitting, minor scratching and surface wear to glaze. Wooden stands are fixed to bases of vase.

(2)Both lacking covers and drilled through base, with fixed wooden stand. Some typical glaze scratching and wear, small areas of misfiring to glaze.

Round-legged table has splits in wood around legs and loose joins but structurally strong.
