A bronze table lamp modelled as Hercules wearing lion skin converted to electricity (possibly formerly an oil lamp) on square section base, height 37.5cm.Additional InformationGeneral wear throughout including scratches and pitting as well as surface scuffs, marks, discolouration, rubbing etc. The lion skin a little lose in its fitting and as stated we believe this could have been an oil lamp later converted to electricity as the figures are holding something aloft which is no longer present, possibly the oil reservoir. There is also a surface loss to his cape by the fitment and further surface loss where the finish has been worn away.
