A Victorian turned mahogany table centre, the circular top with moulded edge supported by a turned column and with stepped base. Diameter 30 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top is in generally good order but does have a ring mark and old water splashes. The underside of the top has old screw holes and the boss around the top of the turned column is a later replacement. The turned column itself is in good condition as is the base which is lead weighted.

CONDITION REPORT: This canteen of cutlery has clearly seen very little use. There is no significant wear to any of the pieces they are simply extremely dirty and tarnished. The knives are all in good condition and are not loose at the joints. As stated the only real issue is the tarnishing and dirt.

A Victorian carved oak sideboard and matching table, in the Gothic style, the sideboard with linen fold end panels. Table dimensions 198 cm x 107 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The sideboard is in very good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There are minor surface scratches and marks to the top and also around the base but no significant issues. There is no evidence of any woodworm. The table is also in generally good condition. There are minor marks to the top surface and again scuffs around the base as one would expect. There are however no significant losses or damage and the piece is structurally very sound.
An 18th century oak side table, with moulded edge and drawer, raised on bobbin turned supports with low stretchers. Width 87 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Width 88 cm, depth 55 cm, height 68.5 cm. The top is in generally good order with no significant issues and no recent scratches or damage. The moulded edge is in good order as is the frieze drawer which runs correctly. The brass drop handle is old and maybe original. The legs are all in good order as are the stretchers and there is no evidence of any woodworm past or present.
A George III mahogany side table, with marquetry basket of flowers to the centre and with acorn and oak leaf spandrels, with frieze drawer and raised on tapered legs of square section. Width 85 cm. CONDITION REPORT: This table is not in particularly good condition hence the estimate. Whilst the top is flat the marquetry areas whilst not physically lifting are undulating and there are old repairs and losses. The marquetry is also a little crude and could possibly be a later addition. The drawer front is in generally good order with only minor blemishes and scratches. The legs are in good order with no significant repairs or visible damage. The piece is generally just a little tired. Depth 45 cm, height 76 cm.
A Continental porcelain table lamp, with canopy above a series of dancing figures, floral encrusted and polychrome. Height 60 cm. CONDITION REPORT: As one would expect there are minor chips to the floral encrustations on the very top section. None of these are significant but visible on close inspection. There are also minor chips to one of the large flower heads on the shade itself. The figures around the base are generally in good order. The boy with the green jacket has the tip of his thumb missing but other than this we can see no damage to the figures. The top of the white section of the base is a little discoloured where the green glaze from the grassy area has run into the porcelain on the base. There are minor losses to the floral encrustations on the base but again these are very minor.
A Chinese Ming style blue painted side table. Width 56 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Width 56 cm, depth 38 cm, height 82.5 cm. The table is structurally very sound and there is no evidence of any woodworm, any repairs or any restoration. The table is very attractive but has no great age. In our opinion it may only be 30-40 years old although it looks far older.
A George III mahogany turnover top tea table, demi-lune, raised on four tapered legs of square section terminating in brass roller castors. Width 91 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: There are two gate legs to support the top. The table is generally in very good original condition. The top is flat and not warped. There is no evidence of woodworm. A fine large Victorian pollard oak dressing table, with centre mirror with candle sconces to either side and two short drawers, the base with a pedestal to either side fitted with four drawers flanked by fluted and carved columns and raised on a plinth. Width 156 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The dressing table is very good quality and in generally good condition. The mirror frame has a stress fracture to the top centre left. There are further stress fractures in the joins around the mirror frame but none of these are problematic and there are no losses. The sconces and supports are in good order. The side supports with drawers are all in very good condition with no damage or losses. The top surface to the dressing table is in generally good order to both left and right. There is some fading and the odd ring mark. The centre drop section has some desiccation to the polish probably caused by perfumes or other solvents. The kneehole is in good condition. The pedestal drawers are all in good order as are the columns. The left hand side panel is in very good condition with no issues. The right hand side is again in good order but a little faded. The plinth has several small veneer losses to the right hand side but the front edge and internal section is in good condition. The left hand return again has minor losses to the rear left hand bottom corner. Overall the piece is in very good condition for its age.
A late Victorian walnut dressing table, large, with centre mirror set between shelves and drawers, fitted with two frieze drawers and with turned legs united by stretchers. Length 122 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: Very good condition generally. Good quality walnut with no damage of any note to the piece at all. The mirror plate is also in good condition. The frieze drawer is in good order. All legs are in good condition with no repairs or damage. The shelf is original and the supports are not broken. The castors are original. The only real issue is with the veneering to the flaps as previously stated.
An oak refectory table, with carved frieze, raised on end supports united by a centre stretcher. Length 183 cm, width 97.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The top detaches. The table top is flat and has no issues. There are numerous old scuffs and scratches but no significant problems. There is no evidence of any woodworm and no splits in the planking. The table base is structurally very sound and again there are no significant problems. We can see no losses to the mouldings or carving. There is no evidence of any woodworm. The only minor issue which is to be expected is scuff marks around the feet and on the stretchers. The table base is also very dusty and requires a good clean.
A George III coromandelwood and crossbanded Pembroke table, with rounded corners, fitted with a frieze drawer with brass knob handles and raised on tapered strung legs of square section terminating in brass capped castors. Length 69 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This table is in generally good condition. The top is flat and has no losses. There is an old ring mark to the centre. It looks more pronounced on our image than in the flesh. Both flaps are in good order and not warped. There are no losses to the veneers. The drawer is in good condition. All legs are in good order with no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The castors are original. The table could be used in its current condition with the need for any repair or restoration.
A 19th century ebonised occasional table, with bone Florentine type marquetry, with Blackamoor support with square base raised on turned feet. Diameter 65 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound. The top is not warped but does have small areas of slightly lifting veneer and stress fractures to the veneers. There are also some losses to the bone inlay. There are also ring marks to the centre. The Blackamoor column is in good condition and structurally sound. There are no major losses other than part of the second toe of the front facing foot. There is minor evidence of old woodworm to the same foot and a small amount to the square base. The turned feet are original and in good condition.
A Victorian mahogany extending dining table, with two extra leaves, the rectangular top with moulded edge and rounded corners supported by a recessed frieze and raised on turned tapered reeded legs terminating in castors. Length extended 280 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This table is in good original untouched, unrestored condition. The table has a pull out rather than wind out action and is flat when the two centre leaves are in position. The table has clearly been used with one leaf in place as the second extra leaf is a shade darker than the rest of the table top. The table top has numerous old ink ring and scratch marks and there are minor stress fractures to the paler of the two extra leaves. These are not problematic. There is also an old spliced repair to the corner of one end where it meets the leaf. The colour match and polish is very good and the repair is clearly a Victorian one. The table appears structurally sound with all leaves in place and the legs are all in good order with their original castors. Table height 73 cm, length closed 152 cm with leaves 290 cm, width 138 cm. The mechanism is a little stiff but operates as it should.
