An American oak pedestal desk, the central drawer flanked by two drawers over two banks of three drawers to a plinth base, together with a table lamp in the form of a Classical maiden with a bronzed finish, and a vintage Frister & Rossmann sewing machine in parquetry decorated wooden case CONDITION REPORTS 137cm wide x 58cm deep x 76cm high approx. The top with loss to the varnished finish and appear to have been sanded down. Some separating at joins especially between the inner section of the top and the shaped outer border. Rest of desk with various scuffs and scratches, knocks and chips, and plinth quite heavily scuffed. One of the drawers does appear to fit its runner and may need some repair. Desk appears to constructed as a single unit (ie pedestals not removeable).
A painted occasional table, a 19th Century stained elm oval table on bobbin turned supports and a set of coat hooks CONDITION REPORTS Oak table : Poor condition, bad colour, structurally basically sound though needs attention throughout. Painted table : modern, but with stains, chips and general wear and tear conducive with unsympathetic use. Coat hooks : basically the oak bracket onto which coat hooks would be placed - all hooks missing bar one section (see images).
A 19th Century mahogany Pembroke work table on reeded legs to brass castors CONDITION REPORTS Overall with wear, scuffs, knocks and chips, section of moulding missing near join to one of the flaps, some repairs and replacement sections, some areas of stringing and inlay missing and others cracked and lifting. Size approx. 46 cm x 39 cm when closed (i.e. when flaps are down), and 76 cm high.
