A GEORGE III MAHOGANY EXTENDING DINING TABLELATE 18TH CENTURYWith D-ends, and five leaves73cm high, 161cm wide, 452cm long (fully extended)Provenance:The Wodehouse, Wombourne, StaffordshireCondition Report: Overall this requires some attention and restoration prior to use in a domestic settingThere are marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, some surface marks and spots of domestic paint.Old splits and cracks, some chips and losses, the table tops are unsecured to the base, there are large screw holes where these should be attached, the screws are long-gone and never been present at the Dreweatts. Colour variation, marks, stains, losses to the surface to all the ends and leaves, Dreweatts have only put one leaf in for the view at Donnington Priory and three leaves for the photograph. The action is stiff overall and hard to extend, also one leg is wonky and appears loose in its joint/socket - almost certainly this would need to be repaired before an attempt to put all leaves in is madeSigns of old woodworm to the rails, the metal brackets to these also with rust and corrosionOverall would benefit from a clean and polish to the surfaces, the action would benefit from a good lubricatePlease refer to additional images for visual reference to conditionCondition Report Disclaimer

A MAHOGANY DINING TABLE IN REGENCY STYLERECENTLY MANUFACTURED BY WILLIAM TILLMANWith manufactures label to the underside75cm high, 244cm long, 109cm wide Condition Report: Despite this table's lack of significant age, it has clearly been used in a domestic setting. There are marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions, knocks and losses overall, the leaves probably haven't been inserted often, these are noticeably a darker colour than the table ends and base. There is a loss to one decorative 'tooth' to one leaf, the remaining 'teeth' have knocks and losses overall.
