A 19th Century Chinese celadon glazed and blue and white decorated baluster shaped vase, the main field depicting figures around an al fresco dining table with various attendants, flanked by pierced dragon handles, surmounted by a wheatsheaf decorated brass rim and seated upon a harebell and ribbon decorated circular foot, 66.4 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Large crack to the back of arched form, the arching approx 35 cm in length. Chip to the rim under the brass mount. Various light scratches throughout, there is a crack to the front running from the table down to some foliage approx 5 cm in length. A Victorian ram's head table snuff mull, the silver mounts with cut glass simulated gem insert, (Makers mark ED within a rectangle, London 1892), the curly horns set with spoon rake and hares pad on chains, raised on cast thistle supports to ball castors, approx 42 cm wide x 40 cm deep CONDITION REPORTS The silver snuff recess with denting and wear and surface scratching conducive with age and use. Does not seem to close fully. The ram's head with wear to the top of the nose and cracking to the skin around the nose, particularly to the top right lip and beneath chin. Top and base may not be original to each other. Various small chips to the carvings on the base. Various scratches and scuffs and marks. All over various general signs of wear and tear throughout
A Victorian black marble and pietra dura inlaid games top table, the top with chequerboard inlay within sprays of flowers and birds on branches, raised on a turned and ringed trumpet-shaped pedestal to tripod platform base and bun feet, 63 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS The top has had considerable restoration, especially when viewed from the bottom. The top must have broken into at least five large pieces, the top surface also showing these joins but not as viewable. Where the table top joins to the base it has had re-modelling work, probably at a different stage, and is unsympathetic to the piece. There are some chips at the bottom edge of the table. There are some nibbles around the top edge also and some various scratches, scuffs. It is hard to tell in the chequerboard and in the inlay how much has been restored as, if the top has been smashed into five or so pieces, a lot of these will have been re-stuck or repaired. Certainly, some of the white squares are showing signs of repair and cracks. Extensive restoration throughout to the top but on the whole well done. The base with various chips and scratches and knocks throughout. All over various general signs of wear and tear through age and use and various signs of restoration and work. A George III Irish mahogany side table, the plain top above a shaped apron on acanthus carved cabriole legs to lion's paw feet, 78 cm wide x 47 cm deep x 70 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Top is slightly warped. Various scratches and scuffs and impressd marks to the top throughout, some dark coloured marks, some chips - mainy to the edges throughout and some water stains. Finished all the way round, various knocks and marks to the legs, some damage to the shaped aprons - see images. All over various general signs of wear and tear throughout. One of the legs has some slight damage to where it meets the table and as a result is quite wobbly - see images
