The mirror's glass is becoming de-silvered to the back. Has various scratches, scuffs and marks. Fish handled knives have damage and losses to the tails. One knife has various nibbles and losses to the blade. Both blades also appear to be bent. Have various signs of general wear and tear. A circa 1900 mahogany dining table in the Regency style, the plain top with reeded edge and extra leaf, raised on twin pillar supports to splayed tripod bases, lion's paw caps and castors CONDITION REPORTS Has four clips present. The top has heavy water and other staining as well as fading and scratches all over. There is rubbing to varnish at the edges especially. There is a split on one end of the table and a large bruise on the other. The base has knocks, bumps, surface scratches and wear to the legs all conducive with age and use. The leaf has been repaired to the underneath and has some discolouration to the top as well as a large scratch to one side - see images for further details. Approx 124.5 cm in length without leaf and 103 cm in width. The leaf measures approx 63.5 cm
A collection of various blue and white wares to include sauce tureen cover and stand "near Carnarvon" pattern, seaweed decorated Pap boat, similar sauce tureen (no cover), waterfall decorated miniature chamber pot, Copeland jug, two peppers, a further Pap boat, Davenport lidded mustard, two napkin rings, miniature sauce tureen (no lid) and two gilt banded and rose decorated pots and covers and a blue and white sauce ladle CONDITION REPORTS The near Carnarvon tureen and cover all have significant crazing and large fractures. The base has had breakage and repair. The seaweed decorated Pap boat has a large chip to the bottom rim as well as a chip to the main body, various cracks, hairline fractures, discolouration and crazing throughout. Sauce tureen in the similar pattern in a similar condition - the ladle has had its' handle broken and repaired. Chamber pot has some brown gooey substance to the base, crazing all over, discolouration to the interior. Copeland Spode jug has wear to the glazing around the spout as well as rim, heavy crazing, discolouration, a hairline crack running down the body of the spout through to the base. Has a large star crack to the base of the jug, heavy wear to the glaze on the handle. Both peppers have discolouration especially the baluster shaped one, chips etc - both have corks missing. Further Pap boat has a hairline fracture to the lip, discolouration and staining. Lidded mustard has several large chips/sections missing, hairline fractures, crazing, discolouration etc. Both napkin rings have discolouration, chipping, hairline fractures the miniature tureen with no lid has chips to the interior rim, the gilt dressing table pots and covers both have chips to the interiors. All items are in need of a good clean, have heavy ware of tear surface scratches, discolouration, chips, knocks etc. See images for further details.
A Royal Dux table centre vase decorated with a nymph amongst lilies CONDITION REPORTS There are some chips to her hairline as well as to the other extremities on the piece. There is an odd scuff marks to one of her knees. there are other scratch marks, minor chips etc. all over. There is a larger chip to the underside of the bottom lily leaf. The triangular mark to the base is smooth and there is an impressed mark, looks like 363 and another 44. has general wear and tear conducive to age and use to include minor chips, losses, surface scratches, wear tot he guilinding etc. In need of a good clean, measure approx 38.5cm in height.
A Royal Doulton figure "CH Warlord of Mazelaine" (HN2643), a 19th Century French "Jade" glass and gilt decorated lidded box, an 18th Century enamel box decorated with three women to the lid, inscribed to base "Lille 1767", a Royal Worcester blushware miniature mug, a Limoges style dressing table box and a "Foreign" pottery figure of a cat CONDITION REPORTS Glass box only - measure approx 8.5cm by 16.3cm by 9.5cm. Gilding is badly worn throughout. the metal mounts have been glued on at some point, possibly replacements - dont quite fit together. There is the remains of glue on the exterior and interior and there is a dent to the metalwork on the escutcheon. The box appears to have been varnished at some point as there is crazing and flaking in various places especially to the edge line of the gilding. There is no key and the locking mechanism is missing from the top section. Is in need of a clean, wear and tear conducive with aqe and use - see images for further details.
