SCHÖNE TISCHUHR MIT WECKERSüddeutschland oder Schweiz, Renaissance um 1540–70.Bronze und Kupfer reliefiert, geätzt sowie mit originaler Feuervergoldung. Die Wandungen des quadratischen Gehäuses reliefiert mit Jagddarstellungen, wohl Kaiser Karl V mit höfischer Jagdgruppe, die Ecken mit Dreiviertelsäulen und korinthischen Kapitellen akzentuiert, im unteren Bereich mit Akanthusblatt verziert und in Tatzenfüssen endend. Durchbrochen gearbeiteter, vergoldeter Boden mit Ätzdekor. Vergoldetes Zifferblatt graviert mit Ranken sowie zwei Zifferringen mit arabischen und römischen Zahlen. Zentrale Weckerscheibe. Eisenzeiger. Kompaktes Werk mit Spindelgang und Stundenschlag auf Glocke. Das Weckerwerk in der Glocke platziert.12 × 12 × 7 cm.Reparatur an der Hammerfeder. Feder des Schlagwerks fehlt. Federbremse entfernt. Die Eckzierden am Zifferblatt fehlen. Vergoldung berieben.Diese Tischuhr besticht durch den ausserordentlich schönen, gegossenen, gravierten und vergoldeten Dekor der Wandungen, die umlaufend eine wohl königliche Hirschjagd darstellen, vermutlich nach einer Stichvorlage. Über den Jagddarstellungen sind in Kartuschen kleine Köpfe von Raubkatzen bzw. eines Königs dargestellt. Die nach unten leicht ausschwingenden Ecksäulen mit Akanthusblatt, die in Tatzenfüsse übergehen, verleihen der Uhr eine gewisse Eleganz. Die schöne Ausführung dieser Arbeit und die Qualität der Feuervergoldung deuten auf die Herkunft aus einem der grossen Zentren für die damalige Gold- und Silberschmiedkunst wie Nürnberg oder Augsburg. Iones, wohl Johannes de Sépibus, ist in den Quellen nicht erwähnt. Er könnte ein Verwandter des berühmten Chorherrn Jean de Sépibus gewesen sein, der 1669 verstorben ist. Im Inventar von 1753 der Konditorei von Schloss Pförten wurden insgesamt 51 Stadthäuser von insgesamt 93 Kleinarchitekturen aufgelistet. The models were designed and realized by Kändler, Reinicke and Ehder since 1743.This kind of figural table centerpiece was initially made of dough, sugar and gum tragacanth before porcelain found its way onto the dessert table. Meistermarke Conradt Blom.Silber, gegossen und getrieben.H 27 cm. 2305 g.Provenienz:- Schwedischer Adelsbesitz. - Auktion Bruun Rasmussen, Kopenhagen, 1999, Los 707. - Deutscher Privatbesitz.Der schlicht gearbeitete, auf vier Kugelfüssen stehende Tafelaufsatz, besteht aus einer Basis, in die 4 grosse ovale und 8 kleine Schalen auf verschiedenen Ebenen eingehängt sind. Wohl dem Zwecke eines festlichen Essens dienlich, bei dem Obst, Gebäck und andere Süssigkeiten dargereicht wurden, lässt sich bei der Gestaltung des Tafelaufsatzes eine Anlehnung an englische Vorbilder erkennen. Die ersten englischen Silberschmiedearbeiten dieser Art, lassen sich ab 1720 nachweisen.Dieser Tafelaufsatz, gefertigt Conradt Blom, ist die einzige bekannte Hamburger Silberschmiedearbeit dieser Art und stellt durch ihre Singularität eine rare Kostbarkeit dar. Das Blatt auf der einen Seite mit grünem Filz, auf der anderen mit Dame/Schach-Spielfeld. Der Tisch innen mit Tric-Trac-Feld in Ebenholz sowie teils getöntem Elfenbein.77 × 61 × 78 cm.Strukturelle Verstärkungen und Änderungen auf der Unterseite. Furnierrestaurierungen bzw. Ergänzungen. Die Blattränder ersetzt. Blatt leicht wellig, Risse. Schlösser an Schubladen entfernt.Der Überlieferung nach im ehemaligen Besitz des Königs Louis XVI im Schloss Versailles. Wahrscheinlich gelang der Tisch als Schenkung an Jean-Baptiste Jérôme de Bremond, seines Zeichens Sekretär des Königs. Letzterer zog nach der Französischen Revolution in die Schweiz. Durch Erbfolge gelangte das Stück zum heutigen Besitzer, der den obigen Sachverhalt schriftlich bestätigt. Je auf einem Felssockel mit Blumen und Blättern appliziert. Unterglasurblaue Schwertermarken auf den Rückseiten der Sockel.H 19 cm und 20 cm.Kleine RestaurierungenDie tanzende Bäuerin wurde nach Angaben der Dresdener Porzellansammlung als Gegenstück zu einem Leier spielenden Bauern von Kändler entworfen (vgl. Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden, Inv. Nr. 258), Vorbild zu den Modellen war ein Stich von Edmé Bouchardon (1698 - 1762) aus der Serie „Etudes prises dans le bas peuple ou Cris de Paris“. Vergleichsstücke für dieses Lot: R. Rückert, Meissener Porzellan, 1966, Taf. 232, Nr. 954, 955 (dort als Gegenstücke).
