A PART 19TH CENTURY WALNUT & EBONISED WRITING TABLE having short plain upstand with skiver insert top, single narrow full width drawer supported on four turned legs, 79cm high to writing surface x 98cm wideCondition report: a few scuffs of wear & use, there are some dents to the surface on either side where back galley starts. Some fading to veneer on front, few scars and bit of a split. Few natural splits in the figured veneer, particularly on right side. It stands soundly.

Great Western Railway 100 Year Centenary Banquet table souvenir presented to all the male guests. This cardboard and wooden model of 4-1-2 Lord Of The Isles contained a cigarette in the chimney, a cigar in the fire box and a book of matches on top of the boiler. In excellent condition measures 7in x 4in x 1.25in. Certainly a rare survivor.
