There are a few small impact marks to the top, see images. Some chips and and wear to the edges of the base. There are splits to the block, see images. ,
A Tournai ornithological plate, 18th centurysoft paste porcelain, painted to centre with vignette of a plover type bird, the blue ground rim with overlaid with gilt decoration, inset with three decorative panels of tropical birds, and three smaller circular panels decorated with butterflies and insets, the birds titled on the reverse are:Le Grand Pluvier, La Fregate, Le Piette ou le Petit Barle Bupe, L'Oiseau du tropique ou le paille-en queuediameter 23.7cm Condition:Evidence of restoration to plate. Plate historical appears to have been broken in half, porfessionally restored, glaze discoloured visible to reverse. This plate is in the manner of the sixteen hundred piece table service produced for the Duc d'Orleans in 1787. This service was decorated with ornithological images from Comte de Buffon's 'Histoire Naturelle des Oiseaux'. The Prince of Wales purchased 594 pieces of the service between 1803 and 1806. The blue ground rim is in the style of the lapis lazuli borders found on Tournai pieces of the period.

A Venetian glass easel mirror and five table reflectors19th centurythe oval plate within a foliate engraved outer frame with flowerhead studs, with a scrolled panel cresting and feet, re-backed and with faux leather covering, together with five table reflectors, each bevelled and on metal backs with studded feet, the backs with hangers, including three oval and two circular examples, (6)Condition: The mirror: The backboard is later, there is wear to the edges of the foil backed outer sections, and small losses visible in images. Oval plate worn to its edges. They all have scratches and marks, the two circular examples have the most. The paint to the backs is worn on all of them and the feet are dented.
