A GEORGE I WALNUT CONSOLE TABLE, apparently retaining the original white and grey striated rectangular marble top, over a convex-moulded frieze, on faceted cabriole legs with scrolling ears, ending in pointed pad feet, 46" wide x 27.75" deep Provenance: Originally in the collection at Glemham Hall, Suffolk, the home of the North family (later the Earls of Guildford). This table was probably made for the house during the period of remodelling in the 1720's.

AN ELIZABETHAN OAK SIDE TABLE basically late 16th century, with a rectangular top over a moulded frieze incised with zig-zag decoration over a triangular arched front frieze carved with stylised Gothic spandrels with turned pendant drops between, on turned legs joined by moulded stretchers, 52.5" wide x 24" deep
Three pen and ink drawings/sketches, one a group in a grand barrel vaulted room with chandeliers, another a violinist below a palm tree the final example gamblers at a table, all appear to be by the same hand, largest 16x24cm, together with a pencil drawing of a man fishing and a print on tissue paper signed possibly N.Hodgson
