Victorian School, oil on canvas, Interior portrait of a lady seated at a table, a harp beyond, 75 x 62cmCONDITION: Overall rather dirty with stretcher marks showing across the top, two small punctured holes to the left in the sky, the reverse showing two patches of repair, one for a large tear running from her right arm up to the horizon and then down into the woods, reasonably well retouched, the other a smaller punched hole above the harp, less well retouched, framed looks original but dirty and has lost some of its moulding.
A Regency coromandel wood banded mahogany breakfast table, with rectangular tilt top, canon barrel stem and reeded downswept legs, fitted brass caps and castors, W.3ft 6in. D.2ft 6in. H.2ft 4in.CONDITION: Looks to have been repolished some years ago, now a little faded with filled and retouched dents in the wood showing as dark spots, minor dents and wear to the stem and legs commensurate with age, one of the legs has been broken and repaired.
A late Victorian yellow metal and diamond set oval portrait miniature, in fitted gilt tooled leather case, 42mm, engrave en verso 'Ernest Charles Eveleigh, born 8th November, 1881'.CONDITION: Three of the diamonds each have a tiny nick to the table edge and one other has a small crack to the table. A few very minor scratches to the reverse. A few minor abrasions around the circumference of the glass. Case in generally good order.
An early 20th century 10ct yellow metal and graduated five stone garnet set half hoop ring, size R, gross 1.9 grams.CONDITION: One of the smallest stones has a tiny chip to the table facet and one of the other slightly larger stones has small crack to one of the crown facets. Shank has been re-sized at some point(visible seam lines and a small split to one of the lines).
