An exceptional set of four cast late George III table candlesticks,, William Elliott, London 1819-20. the serpentine bases with stepped edge, bold c-scroll base with floral detail, a lion’s head, sea monster and an eagle, the circular stems with leaf clasping the main section modelled as an eagle on a rocky outcrop, floral and c-scroll clasped sconces, the removable drip trays with cast eagle perched on the underside, shell, floral and C-scrolls to the top (4), 34.2cm high, 18.5cm diameter base, 320oz.
