An Unusual Victorian Silver Combination Dressing-Table and Hand-Mirror, maker's mark SJ, probably for Samuel Jacob, London, 1896, with pierced surround, the fluted handle hinged to the reverse and folding to form the support, 27cm long . Fully marked on back, the border around the mirror marked on the right hand side with maker's mark only, the handle apparently unmarked. There are some overall light surface scratches and wear. There is a bruise to one side of the frame and a number of bruises to the handle.

Later Additions:- Sauce ladles heavily erased. All others general fair condition with some wear to heels.

There are some minor scratches to the tortoiseshell. The teeth on the comb are slightly detached from the silver back.
