The copper mounted top appears to be contemporary to the table. The copper top has approximately 10-11 very small dents to the rim and slight surfsce wear. Some very minor scratching and scuffing to the edge of the legs, the shelf and wooden surface overall. The shelf with some dark stained ring markings and minor water staining to surface.
