The gateleg action works well. The mahogany is of lovely quality with good rich red colour. No worm and structurally sound. There are some marks and blemishes on the top but this is an original and very good quality period table.

The tilt-top hinges and catches well. No sign of worm or losses. In generally good condition with a well-carved base.
