A CHINESE WHITE METAL MODEL OF A HORSE AND CART marked to the underside of the carriage, 10cm long, boxed; together with a small Chinese model of a table, 2cm high; a salt, in the form of a shoe, 8cm long; and a napkin ring (4)Provenance: Thomas Child (1841 - 1898) was a pioneering photographer who produced a large body of photographs during his time in Beijing during the 1870's. He was close to the Emperor and the court. The family believe a number of objects were gifts from the Imperial family.
