A modern pair of silver table ornaments in the form of Snipe birds. Hallmarked C. J. Vander London 1971/2. Height measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm), gross combined weight 25.4 ozt (790 grams). Condition: The pair of Snipe birds are in good overall condition, there are general scratches, marks and tarnishing . The hallmarks are clear and legible.

Lot 111

A 20th century silver table cigarette box of rectangular shape, the lid with shaped rim and engine turned decoration, the whole on four bracket feet. Hallmarked WWC, Birmingham 1947. Length measures 7 inches (18cm). Condition: There are general surface marks and scratches all over the box. Some of these scratches are deeper and more noticeable in places. There are some other minor nicks/dints in the metal. The engine turned decoration is a little bit rubbed in places. The hinged lid is in good working order although it doesn`t close completely tightly on one side. The full hallmarks on the exterior are a little rubbed (especially date letter), but still legible. Part hallmarks to interior are very clear.

Lot 122

A 1960`s silver mounted hinged cigarette box of rectangular form, with engine turned decoration raised above rounded feet, with an engraved presentation to the front side and an applied stylised lion crest to the lid. Hallmarked John Rose, Birmingham 1967. Length measures 8 inches (20.5 cm). Together with a silver handled shoe horn of elongated pear form, with engine turned decoration and stylised initial engraving. (2). Condition: The shoe horn has a tarnished handle and the handle spins round, the gilt on the shoe horn is very rubbed and cracked. The cigarette box is in a fair condition the hinge is in working order and it closes flush, the box stands flat on the table. The wooden and velvet interior is in a good condition. There are some areas of gathered polish to edges and detailing.

A 1920`s five piece blue guilloche enamel dressing table set, comprising four brushes and a hand mirror. Hallmarked Levi & Salaman Birmingham 1927. (5). Condition: There are general surface marks and scratches to the enamel on all pieces, and some minor dents and a little tarnishing to the silver mounts.Both hair brushes have very noticeable areas of chipped damage to the enamel, as shown in one of the photographs. Both brushes also have dents in the metal on the ends of the handle. One of these brushes is also very loose in the silver mount.The enamel on the hand mirror is generally okay, however the bevelled glass is very loose and scratched.The enamel on one of the clothes brushes appears to be okay, but there is a small area of chipped damage to the end of the other clothes brush.Some of the hallmarks are quite rubbed but they are all still legible.

The length measuring 9 1/2 inches (24 cm), gross combined weight 31.5 ozt (981 grams). Condition: The pheasants are in good overall condition, they display general scratches, marks and tarnishing, remnants of security markings to the underside of the tails. The hallmarks are clear and legible.

A selection of five silver late Georgian and early Victorian Fiddle pattern table spoons, four with engraved initials to handles, varying dates and makers; together with a George III Old English pattern table spoon, a William IV condiment spoon and a late Victorian spoon with swag decoration to bowl. Total silver weight 16.14 ozt (501.9 grams). (8). Condition: The five tablespoons all have general wear, marks and scratches in keeping with their age. One of the spoon bowls is quite pointed at the end. The engraved initials are still fairly clear. The hallmarks are all in good condition and only a little rubbed. The Old English pattern tablespoon and condiment spoon are in similar condition to above. The Victorian spoon is also in similar condition but has heavy tarnishing to the interior and exterior of the bowl.

Condition: All spoons have general wear and surface marks and scratches in keeping with their age. There is some tarnishing. The engraved monograms have some wear but are all still clear and visible. The hallmarks are rubbed, some more than others, but are all legible.

A 1930`s silver mounted three piece dressing table set of brushes with engine turned and banded decoration, matching comb mount and part box with gilt interior. Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd, Birmingham 1933. Condition: The pieces are in a fair condition, with some tarnishing in places, also general wear and tear scratches and some small dints. There are some nicks to the edges and one of the brushes has small section of little scratches to one end. The silver comb mount is slightly misshapen all the way along. And there is an item that seems to be part of a small possible pill box with a gilt interior, the interior is quite bright with small spots of tarnishing and slightly rubbed top edges.
