WILLIAM IV MAHOGANY STRAIGHT FRONTED FOLD OVER CARD TABLE, the top with curved angles and opening to reveal baize playing surface, scroll moulded frieze with half-turned horizontal column on a turned tapering plain pedestal with oval fluted platform base and four scrolled feet. Overall 36" x 36" x 28.5" (91 x 91 x 72cm). CONDITION REPORT: Fair condition for age, two noticeable splits to the top and minor losses and bumps to corners and surfaces. Wear commensurate with age to feet and lower edges. No serious damage or losses.
19th CENTURY MAHOGANY CONVERSATION CHESS TABLE SUITE upholstered in pale blue fabric with button backs, having scrolled, open arms raised on fluted tapering feet above brass cups and casters. The chess playing top having two sliding drawers in burr walnut. Width 70" (178cm) CONDITION REPORT: Chess playing top is stained, marked and faded, as is the wooden chair base, some fading. Structurally fairly sound and appears original. Wear to upholstery as expected with age.
