By Terence Disdale An Eggshell parquetry design low centre table:, of square form with two curved sides, each with a recessed shelf on interwoven brown speckled plinth, 110cm (3ft 7 1/4in) x 40.5cm (1ft 4in) high, together with a smaller matching table 90cm (2ft 11 1/2in) x 45cm (1ft 5 3/4in).*Biography Terence Disdale trained under the late Jon Bannenberg as a member of the 'Chelsea University' before setting up his own studio in the 1970's. He continues to be one of the most sought after yacht designers and is responsible for several of the longest super yachts in the world including Al Salamah and Pelorus. These tables reputedly came from MY Pelrous.

A few minor scuffs and dents in small areas to the edges, stretcher and feet. The odd minor light shrinkage crack to the veneers along the rim of the table top. The second table in good order with very minor wear, commensurate with age and use.

A few other small veneer repairs in other areas, including a patch to the outer edge of the top. Various other slight marks, scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use to the polished top, together with other knocks, scuffs and chips in areas, including to the corners and edges of the quatrepartite base and minor shrinkage to the carved pedestal base.

Notably cracks to the winged caryatids, with losses to the scrolls and one wing loose to the side return. Various other chips including to fingers and one section of moulding to the frieze on the corner lacking. Two parts of the broken scroll are with the lot.
