A few nicks and nibbles to the crown facets, a small scratch to one side of the table The amazonite has a fracture to one side of the stone, some scuffs. A narrow painted pine refectory table, 17th century and later, with associated painted top, on baluster end supports and trestle feet70 x 163 x 51cmPainted faux marble top has areas of paint loss to the surface, also areas that have been touched in. There are various splits at one end, but it appears sound.The underside of the table top has a gilded bead applied in order to give the appearance of a thicker top, and this has damaged areas and is loose at one end. The base stretcher has been spliced in two places, suggesting that the elements may have been adapted or assembled, but appear to have been together some time due to largely uniform colour. The base shows old damage, historic worm damage, splits etc. See further images for condition.
