A pair of 19th century French pink opaline glass vases, converted to table lamps, enamelled with flowers and scrolls in pink shades heightened with gilt, the tops mounted with tooled gilt metal lamp attachments,total height 40cm approximately Condition: Apparently good condition overall, mount with wear, wiring removed. The bodies with wear to gilding, the bases not sitting totally flat. Very slight. The gilt banding to the middle of the base of one lamp is worn away, see image.

A very attractive piece in very good condition for its age. All gems with good colour saturation. Pink tourmaline has a very small chip to the table and to the girdle.Diamonds bright; the four larger each spread 0.10ct approx.Enamel generally in good condition but with two very small nicks.
