A LARGE CHINESE MARBLE SET MOTHER OF PEAR INLAID HARDWOOD TABLE SCREEN, LATE QING DYNASTY. The marble painted depicting the Eight Immortals above clouds with pagoda and mountain peak. The marble plaque framed in hardwood inlaid with mother of pearl figures and floral sprays on lion dog feet. Total size 79cm tall x 60cm wide x 22cm deep at the feet.Provenance: Property of Terence E B Harnden who served as Senior Naval Stores Officer in Hong Kong between 1937 - 1940. Acquired in Hong Kong before returning to England, thence by descent. Good overall condition with no obvious signs of damage or repair. No signs of loss to mother of pearl. Surface wear to stone to note.

The two basting spoons scroll banding to the finials has lost some of its sharpness, other than that, there are no bends. Minor surface scratches commensurate with use. Needs cleaning.The two Old English pattern spoons are in good condition - crests are still crisp. One maker's punch slightly rubbed."

AN 18CT GOLD CHAMPAGNE DIAMOND SOLITAIRE RING set with an estimated approx 1.80ct, brilliant cut diamond in a decorative bezel setting. Finger size R0, weight 7.5gms Condition Report:I cannot give you the 4c's as I am not qualified to do so, but I can tell you what I can see.Colour is champagne, this is a fancy diamond colour.There are two miniscule carbon dots to the star facets, these can only just be seen with a loope. There are several clear feather inclusions one of these is slightly surface reaching, one is big enough to stretch between the girdle and about a 1/4 into the table facet. These are just about eye visible
