The top opens ok, but looks like it has been repolished or restored and may not be original to the base. The base is dry, worn and dirty, with signs of old woodworm to the top of the column.

They look to be complete but the bolts through the centre are not tight, so the fittings have come loose. The metal bases are tarnsihed.
