Made in France by EF, consisting of two strung rackets (strings distressed), folding wood and brass net base, wooden posts and blue net, two sets of rules by S and B of Paris, one in French the other in English, one original table tennis ball all housed within separate compartments within the box.

A suite of American silver Japanese pattern flatware, by Gorham & Co., c.1875, comprising a set of 12 table forks, the terminals decorated with geishas, and a set of 11 dessert spoons with peacock motifs, table fork 19.75cm long, dessert spoon 7.25cm long, 39oz. Both Gorham and Tiffany became involved in Japanese design towards the end of the 1860s. Gorhams japanese pattern flatware was introduced about 1870 and had five different handle designs.
