French Empire mahogany rosewood and parcel gilt display cabinet, inverted breakfront frieze to the upper section, two glazed doors, flanked by lustre strips, scrolled capitals, fluted plinths, the matched table base with a white marble top (broken), monopod supports, in the Egyptianesque taste, with a low under-shelf, overall width 143cm, depth 55cm, height 190cm.Condition report:The top is not removable, please see the added photos online. The marble is split almost in the centre and has old discolouration surrounding the fracture line. A shallow chip to the front left marble corner. Two of the mirrored panels to the interior left hand side are xmcracked. The mirror panels elsewhere are flaking/ peeling in random places, including the lower mirror back. Sections of moulding are loose and present although two lengths remain missing to each side (behind the marble, the right hand side with a painted replacement). The mounts and gilt mouldings are all a little tired. The lower shelf is split across the middle. Scratches and scuffs to the right hand cupboard and right hand side. No key, lock mechanism is "locked" but door is open so you can't close the door flush.
Early Victorian mahogany drop-leaf supper table, rectangular top with two drop leaves, rounded corners, frieze drawer, turned and ringed gate legs, on castors, 124 x 98cm, height 73cm.Condition report:It is a strong table but the is some damage to the top and evidence of woodworm underneath. Victorian mahogany pull-out dining table, the circular top with moulded edge, plain frieze, turned and fluted legs on casters, diameter 128cm, height 74cm, two additional later leaves 48cm and 46cm but the action looks like it should extend further.Condition report:The top is generally good, a couple of marks, legs and casters are good, both leaves are later and a darker colour.
Victorian rosewood breakfast table, circular top with moulded edge, plain frieze, turned and carved column, tripod plinth base, diameter 138cm, height 72cm.Condition report:The top surface has a 'bulls eye' ring mark with the outer ring being 10cm in diameter, the inner ring blemish being 4cm in diameter. There is another 4cm diameter mark elsewhere on the top. Elsewhere the top is good, no splits. Some old professional repairs to the frieze veneer and moulding. The pedestal and base are largely in good condition bar a few marks through use. The hinge mechanism works ok. The top surface is slightly lighter in colour to the pedestal and mase, otherwise, the colours are fairly consistant throughout.
Late Victorian mahogany centre table, rectangular top with rounded corners, moulded edge, the frieze with satinwood crossbanding, boxwood and ebony stringing, boxwood strung square tapering legs on casters, 122 x 91cm, height 76cm.Condition report:Generally good condition, some minor marks to the top, legs a little scuffed but sound.
George III oak tripod table, circular tilt top, turned column, diameter 73cm, height 70cm.Condition report:There are two cracks to the top, one of which has been repaired with modern metal connectors and screws. There is evidence of an older connection in the middle. The square support has been repaired. There is a crack running down the length of the twist leg. Please see additional uploaded images.
