CONDITION REPORT: Condition Report Lot 2223 Bow front top ring marks and dark staining patches some scratching and dinting wear to a circular patch near the back approximately 13cm diameter, some fading to the left. Brass handles old with old nut and bolt fixing but possibly replaced traces of roundel marks behind the outer brass handle, good figuring to the frieze drawer, each side good condition, surface scratching to the lower part of the legs, feet scuffing minor, some old worm holes on the back pine board.

CONDITION REPORT: Condition Report Lot 2301 Shaped rectangular hinged top good condition hinges tight, centre screws missing on each hinge, original red silk panel missing and a later modern panel has been pinned in the centre, most of the interior divisions are in place with the exception of the back rectangular section where three need fixing and one is missing, the front section one division is missing, typical scuffing around the edges of the divisions, later modern cloth tacked in the centre, minor surface scratching to the lappett frieze particularly the angles, applied foliate moulding to front good condition, column and leafy top good condition, minor scratching to plinth surface, scroll feet usual scuffing marks but no breaks original castors, good condition, the colour of the top is a little dull and would require re polishing.

A Victorian satin walnut three piece bedroom suite The impressive inverted bowfront wardrobe with a swan neck cresting above a frieze carved with scrolling leaves above a bevelled mirror door with a leaf carved arch against a pounced ground enclosing four sliding trays and three short drawers each with recessed brass handles flanked on either side by a bowfront cupboard door each with ornate panels carved with a gadrooned vase with a bowl of fruit and leaves against a leaf and scroll ground, the right hand door enclosing a lidded compartment with rails and a brass coat hook raised upon a breakfront plinth and later castors, 220 x approximately 185 x62cms, with a conforming inverted breakfront pedestal dressing table of similar design the inverted bowfront pedestal base with an arrangement of seven drawers raised upon slender cylindrical turned legs and castors 192cms high x 129cms, and a conforming pot cupboard. (3) CONDITION REPORT: Amendment to this lot size should say 220x185x62cms. Pedestal cupboard - The shaped back loose and requires tightening some loss of colour the serpentine top ring stains and some discolouration, hinges tight on door fits flush, 4 legs are sound, no worm, original castors, very minor split left hand side outset moulding minor Pedestal dressing table - some minor foxing to the bevelled mirror very minor fading to the scroll top, some surface discolouration and bruising to the top of each bowfront cupboard left and right, some surface ring stains to the rectangular top above the two frieze drawers, oxidization discolouration to the two frieze drawer handles, the invert break front top discolouration, rings stains and a shrinkage crack on the left hand side, minor, panelled sides good condition, panelled sides right hand side good condition, back castor right hand side loose and requires fixing, 2 castors missing including support to the back inside leg, left back inside leg mount but lacking castor, some surface scratching to the front. The large bowfront compact and wardrobe - generally good colour, good condition, mirror very minor foxing to the bevelled edges and one or two specs to the centre minor, some minor discolouration to the escutcheon's and handles, some scratching to the plinth associated with typical wear, some overall surface scratching, minor shrinkage crack to the bottom left hand side of large panel, the wardrobe has replaced castors modern shepherds, the back, boards good condition, no visible sign of worm, interior right hand cupboard good condition, only one brass coat hook, brass rail polished interior, some scratching to the hinged box, internal lock mechanism lacking, centre door, four sliding trays good condition, three frieze drawers good condition, some surface scratching and natural wear to recess brass handles, left hand full length door interior polish good condition, one brass coat hook hanging rail oxidization and discoloured, complete with lock mechanism, wardrobe bright, dressing table requires re-polishing due to surface staining and also the pot cupboard.
