There is a small area of inlay to the acanthus leaf lifting, just beneath the shell and above the face mask, with some small areas of inlay missing.Oak lined drawers, with pretty handles decorated flowers, and the frieze has some old repairs to the veneer, has some small areas of veneer missing, and is generally cracked and split. The chairs do not quite match the top in colour or in quality, and they appear to have had quite a harsh life with knocks, wear and tear, with the back right hand leg having an old repair/split, the underside of the carcass (top) has old worm holes, and the platform under tier doesn't match in colour and is probably an association.Overall once a cracking table, the top has thick varnish on it, which is badly rubbed and scraped, there is some loss to the veneer and inlay, and generally requires repair and restoration.
