(cue 57 case 43 3/4"). From the Tan family collection, South East London, UK; acquired by the vendor at the 'Terry Griffith's Captain's Day' charity event and raffle held at the Belfrey, Wishaw, North Warwickshire, UK, 5 May 1992 after the 1992 world championship; it is understood that Hendry carried this cue for a period of two years after that date and used it for practise games with his manager John Carroll and others, before it finally passed back to the vendor; the signed 1992 event programme is included. The 1992 World Snooker Championship saw Stephen Hendry make a famous recovery in the final against Jimmy White; Hendry was losing 14-8 and behind in frame 23 when he cleared the table to win that frame and continued on for the next ten frames in succession to win the championship. This cue case was signed and won, with the cue and fittings, after the 1992 world championship. Very fine condition.
