Of great Marine historic interest, an extremely heavy Mahogany Armchair having a circular upholstered cushion. This chair has a cast iron base with a facility to be bolted down for obvious reasons. It is thought to be a dining chair and has a patent action that moves the chair forwards (towards a dining table) when rotated. It was purchase from Cashmore's, Newport who were breaking the S.S. Doric and selling the fittings. (It was used by the now deceased owner in his farm office at Penhow 1955-1976). It was apparently made in Scotland by Cruickshank,
