A near pair of silver parcel gilt table cruets, each quatrelobed stand with engraved foliate border and beaded rim, the central twisted handle with beaded surmount, flanked by a pair of baluster pepper casters and covers, salt and mustard, each condiment body decorated with signs of the zodiac band within engraved foliate borders, London 1878 and London 1908 by George Fox, together with three matching condiment spoons, London 1878, length approx 18.5cm. Provenance: Lot 134 in Churchman Burt & Son sale 11th March 1971, when stated in catalogue (which is present): `a presentation from Queen Mary to one of her ladies in waiting on her ruby wedding anniversary`.
