A diamond and garnet topped doublet ring, the central green coloured mixed cut garnet topped doublet measuring 4.7mm x 3.9mm, with a round brilliant cut diamond to each side, each weighing approximately 0.25 - 0.30 carats, claw set in 18ct gold, continuing to tapering platinum shoulders and plain polished 18ct yellow gold shank, ring size O, weight 3.2gmsNote; One diamond has no obvious inclusions visible at 10x, est. clarity VS+, est. colour H/G/I. The other has a small inclusion to centre of the table, est. clarity SI and est. colour F/G/H (both stones assessed in setting). Both diamond appear white and have a good sparkle when viewed face up.

No. 532732, 9.4cm high, weight 2.87oztCR; Tabletop in good order, no splitting, major thinning, misshaping or repair. A colour-change sapphire and diamond ring, the rectangular cushion mixed cut sapphire weighing 4.20 carats (10.3mm x 8.1mm x 5.4mm), claw set to stepped shoulders set with brilliant cut diamonds, all set in white metal to a plain polished shank, stamped '950', maker's mark 'JC' Sheffield, ring size N 1/2, weight 4.7gms With accompanying report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory, report no. 22699, stating that the carat weight is 4.20 carats, that the stone is a natural sapphire, shows no evidence of heat treatment, and the origin opinion is Sri Lanka. Feather inclusions can be seen in the central table under 10x, including a flat reflective inclusion to the centre of the feather burst. Crystal inclusions are visible in the central table under 10x also. All inclusions are visible but less apparent with the naked eye. No obvious windowing. No obvious colour zoning. See images.
