Victorian mahogany writing table, serpentine top with green leather inset, two frieze drawers with satinwood inlay, square tapering legs on brass casters, width 136cm, depth 58cm, height 76cm.Condition report:There is a 3cm scuff to the leather towards the front curved margin. The back right corner appears to be torn and stuck down. Otherwise the leather is in good order, minor wear and some creasing where it has been laid down. The rest of the table is in good order, again just minor wear, some off minor knocks and marks but generally very well presented. The rear bar along the back has warped a little.

Louis XV style tulip wood and rosewood ‘bonheur du jour’ writing table, gilt metal appliques, and fitted with Sevres style blue celeste porcelain panels, painted with floral sprays, covered over with shelves, serpentine frieze drawer, shaped legs, width 77cm, depth 51cm, height 125cm.Qty: 1Condition report:The rosewood crossbanding surrounding the "base" of the top section is all loose, with most of it present in the drawer, but not all. Otherwise the top section is generally good. The top has a ring stain to the centre, and just off to the left of that there is a split in the veneer and it has started to lift. The left hand gilt trim has lost a pin and so is lifting slightly. Veneer splitting to the drawer front, with some patches of loss to the corners of the drawer. The slide to the drawer is split. Some patches of veneer loss to the left hand side and legs. The right foot mount is currently loose, but present.
