A late Victorian rosewood and inlaid occasional table, the circular top with hippocamp and merman inlaid decoration and moulded edge over a satinwood and rosewood strung frieze on cluster column pedestal to splayed marquetry inlaid tripod base, decorated with harebells and fan medallions, on china castors, 66 cm diameter x 69.5 cm high (Ivory register reference 3UMJ8TXV) CONDITION REPORTS There are some areas of loss through out to the inlay including some losses to the ivory which have been replaced with painted wood / filler as well as some areas of inlay missing. The table itself is faded variously throughout. There is a split running through one side of the top, the same side with the predominant water damage and the veneer feels rough and is splitting on the sides throughout where the curved wood is joined. The brass caps are pitted and in need of a clean, with some scratching. The legs have regular notch / burn marks on the edges throughout which vary in consistency, presumably not part of the original design. There has been some touching up to the colour - this has been done very crudely and is in need of professional restoration to sort. Otherwise, general wear and tear conducive with age and use to include minor losses, discolouration, surface scratches, fading, etc. See images for further detail.

A burr walnut veneered Art Deco dining table, the shaped top above a plain frieze on end pillar supports 91 cm wide x 185 cm long x 78 cm high together with a set of six upholstered Art Deco dining chairs, the scroll backs above bow fronted seat on square tapered front legs to splayed feet (4 + 2 carvers) CONDITION REPORTS There are dents and surface scratches to the veneer throughout, some small pieces missing. The bottom edge of the apron has some scuffing. Some minor losses to the legs and the remains of some gaffer tape to the inside of one of the legs. There is some roughness to one of the edges of one of the legs as if there has been something stuck on it and it has not come off quite properly. Minor knocks and bumps etc to the edges. The chairs are all sound and have clearly been recently re-upholstered in cream suede. Easily marked, some marks already showing but generally ok.
