A pair of Art Deco oak side tables on stands, with canted angles and open shelves. Height 44 cm, width and depth 43 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Both tables are a little dirty. One table has an open join line to the top which should be visible in our image. This is not a split but a join between the two pieces of wood that make up the top. There is slight movement here and a 1 mm gap. The same table has some old paint marks to the top surface, these should clean off. The angled sides and lower shelves are all in good condition. The second tabletop has scratches but no splits. The angled supports and shelves are in good condition. There is no evidence of any woodworm to either piece.
An early 19th century mahogany and rosewood crossbanded Scottish turnover top tea table, with rounded corners and single frieze drawer with brass drop handles and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in spade feet. Height 76 cm, width 98 cm, depth 49 cm (see illustration).
A Victorian walnut turnover top card table, crossbanded and inlaid and with cloth lined playing surface all raised on turned and fluted supports with four downswept legs terminating in castors. Height 72 cm, length 91.5 cm, depth 44.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. It is in generally good condition. There are no losses to the top veneers. The centre inlaid section has some very tiny marquetry losses but is generally smooth to touch and does not snag when polished. The top is not warped. The green baize interior is discoloured and worn. The frieze is in good condition all round. The turned supports are in good order as are all legs which have no veneer losses. The scroll feet are in good order as are the castors. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
1920's Chinese design quartetto of tables, with rectangular tops and slender legs. Overall height 63 cm, width 53 cm, diameter 34 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The smallest table is in good condition but does have slight side to side movement as does the next one. The next table is in good order no issues. The largest again is in good order but does have side to side movement.
An oak nest of oval Reprodux tables, the largest table height 45 cm, width 80 cm, depth 48 cm, smallest table height 40 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The three tables are in generally very good order with only minor blemishes. The top table has a few liquid spot marks and minor scratches but nothing of any significance. All tables are structurally sound and there is no evidence of any woodworm.
Attributed to Arthur Simpson of Kendal a circular low table, with silhouette supports and chamfered stretchers. Height 46 cm, diameter 56.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table is not labelled but bears all the hallmarks of Simpson of Kendal a manufacturer who we are familiar with. The table is structurally sound with no loose joints. The top is flat and not warped. There are no ring or watermarks. All legs are in good condition as are the stretchers. There is no evidence of any woodworm.
