Chinese late 19th or early 20th century padouk wood table of rectangular form on a deep carved, pierced and mother of pearl inlaid apron, raised on square supports, 52cm x 98cm, 95cm high CONDITION REPORT: Good patina to surface but slightly lighter to right hand corner. Two old cracks to surface centre panel left. Two slight cracks going right from left hand corner joint and small repaired area. Slight lengthways crack on left hand side. Scratching and one central crack c4cm. Centre panel not loose. Whole piece is steady and sound. Back panel is uncarved and legs are not inlaid. Front right joint is slightly out of the joint c5-7mm. Leg very slightly sitting forward. RIght side carving and inlay good. Front panel - both side apron panels out of joint, dropped 6-8mm and also top apron panel, few minor losses to mother of pearl, one petal missing from carved apron right hand side. Left side panel - one block (to ecure carved apron to leg) is missing but all carving is complete and other side is out of joint c6-8mm. One small mother of pearl inlay missing. Legs scuffed towards bases.
Chinese nest of four tables of square shape with pierced and carved scroll apron on faux bamboo supports, largest 37cm square, 71cm high CONDITION REPORT: Overall in good solid condition but rather marked, dirty, scuffed. Some joints of scrollwork to table tops open to 3mm. To table (largest) is very water marked, joints very slightly gaping, some slight cracks, one scroll top repaired well. Table 2 similar condition, less marked, crack to two scrolls. Table 3 one joint at side apron is filled, tip chipped on one scroll. Table four tip of three scrolls chipped.

One side swag missing. One corner joint open/loose, so leg sits slightly squint. legs scratched and water stained.

CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1001 - Split to the right join in the wood at the lip of the exterior edge with loss to wood Scratching to the upper top of the table, indicative of age and wear Opening to the join at the joined edges of the wood throughout The table in worn and used condition, however, remains in good sturdy condition with no major structural damage.
A fine quality North Indian Hoshiarpur type table The octagonal top raised on hinged eight sided and carved lower support, the upper top inlaid in ivory and bone with central roundel issuing a series of peacock and scrolling tendril designs, set within acanthus and lotus banding, the lower support inlaid with diamond, foliate and quatrefoil inlaid designs, 61cm high, 60cm diam.

CONDITION REPORT: Lot 1010- Opening to the joined two halves at the upper plane of the table, gap approx 1cm in size Loss to the Mother of pearl at the top, and legs throughout Noticeable opening to the joints throughout Good structural condition
A Japanese lacquered table cabinet, Meiji/Taisho Period The square section cabinet with scroll top, above an arrangement of drawers, compartments and shelves, applied with metal inscribed mounts, painted in gilt depicting figures before stylised landscapes, reserved against a scroll and star ground, 40cm high x 37cm x 28cm.
A Chinese carved hardwood marble topped occasional table, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) The variegated rouge marble inset circular top, within circular carved surround, extending to a heavily carved central stem, detailed with dragon amidst fire scrolls, extending to three tripod supports, terminating at paw feet and detailed in taotie masks, 74cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Several visible splits to the wood at the central pedestal stem. Scuffing and small wood loss visible throughout. The underside reveals several repairs and losses to the pegged areas (please refer to images).
