Twelve George I/II silver Hanoverian pattern bottom marked table spoons, marks worn, engraved with a crest, 781g (25.1 oz) gross At least five by Samuel Hitchcock (registered October 1720) and at least one of the three rat-tails Britannia standard. The crest of KELK seated in the 18th century at Wigthorpe, Carlton in Lindrick, Nottinghamshire but later of Westminster. In 1874 John Kelk, then of Tedworth, Wilts., was created a baronet: a title that is now extinct.
