A woven linen table napkin from the 1838 Coronation Banquet of Queen Victoria held at the Guildhall, London, the design incorporating a view of the city of London, with a pen and ink note of provenance from the original owner (Miss Donville), describing the way the cloth was obtained, another from the daughter of Miss Donville transcribing the note; "Mrs Bradford (then Miss Donville) was permitted to dress up as a waitress and so obtained a sight of the show and got one of the napkins as a souvenir", and a third from the great-great-grandaughter of the above, the napkin bearing a pen and ink name 'J P Philipps No.9', 74 x 84 cm
