A specimen marble low table, of recent manufacture, the marble top raised on an ebonised wood circular base, with four faceted and tapered supports on castors,91cm diameter40cm highCondition ReportThe marble top appears to have a small section that has been repaired and to the left of this, there is a slight chunk missing from the rim and it has also slightly lifted from the repair. The white marble sections beside the rim are slightly off in their fitting, revealing the stone below. There are scratches to the centre of the table. The ebonised base has some areas where the paint has chipped, and there are a few scratches and knocks typically seen from age and use. Please see additional images added.

Veneered top with split of approximately 70cm. Some small losses, splits and lifting to veneers and inlay. Strengthening visible underneath to one. Legs re-tipped. Shrinkage crack to one side at the rear and resulting gap between joins. Another split to the other side on the same table. There is a slight warp to both tops and a small gapwhere the two sides meet. Hinges in good condition. Seem structurally stable with only slight wobble to joints. General knocks, scuffs and wear consistent with age and use. Overall in fair cosmetic condition and ready for placement. See additional photos.
A Victorian three-piece silver-plated table garniture, mid-19th century, probably by T Wilkinson of Birmingham and London, marked K & Co., possibly for Kay & Co. of Worcester, comprising a large centre stand with moulded glass dish, flanked by two smaller stands with etched glass bowls, the centrepiece 40cm wide 30.5cm high, two stands 18cm wide 23cm high (6)T Wilkinson & Sons Ltd. was founded in Sheffield in 1832 by Thomas Wilkinson, who trained as a plater and silversmith following his service in the army during the Napoleonic Wars. In the mid-1840s, following a move to Birmingham where there appeared to be more attractive prospects, he turned to electroplating, a process that had recently been patented by Elkington’s, and was one of the first to receive a franchise from the firm.Condition ReportAll with diamond registration marks. Centrepiece) Recently polished and cleaned. The liner is not original. Two of the leaves are broken but present. Two holes in the tree trunk indicate possible missing elements.Garnitures) The frosted and etched glass liners are original, possibly Stourbridge, but with large losses. The figures and leaves are slightly loose.

The marble top has been broken and repaired with reinforcements underneath. There are some splits and shrinkage cracks to the supports. Woodworm damage to supports but doesn't appear active. In-filled areas to the back of each support suggests these were repurposed from another piece of furniture or architectural carving. The frame is stable and ready for use. See additional photos.

They are known to have worked with shipping companies including the Pacific Steam Navigation Company.

The joint of one leg appears to be separated slightly. In need of some attention however is an aesthetically pleasing table.

Wear and loss to the wooden castors. Joints generally sound and solid. Overall appears in fairly good structural and cosmetic condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. A George III mahogany drum table,c.1810, the leather top above an arrangement of drawers, raised on reeded supports,107cm diameter 72cm highCondition ReportThe leather top with scratches, marks and scuffs. The veneer lifting in areas, especially below the drawers (the banded wood lifting away). Scratches and scuffs also present to the exterior of the drawers and surrounding the drawers, with further small chips and losses. Most drawers run smoothly with a couple that are slightly stiff. Some of the handles of the drawers are a little wobbly and may need securing. The casters however, run smoothly and the top lifts off easily. The interior of two drawers split. The top and base with a fair amount of wobble and will tilt when too much weight is put on the edges.
