A 19th century mahogany Pembroke table, with butterfly wing flaps and raised on tapered legs of square section terminating in toupie feet and with raised centre shelf. Width 72 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The table top has numerous old surface scratches and small marks. There is also a small filler repair to the centre right. The right hand flap has a corner repair and a small loss. The left hand flap also has two corner repairs both at the rule joint side. The leaves are not significantly warped. The legs on the drawer side of the table are both in good order as is the shelf. The right hand facing rear leg has had a repair to the top lock. The left hand rear leg has some minor losses to the toupie foot.
A Victorian marquetry circular centre table, quarter veneered, with moulded edge, snap action and raised on a foliate carved centre column with four downswept legs terminating in scroll feet. Diameter 141 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The table top is in generally extremely good order. There are some very minor scratches to the moulded edge but no significant issues. The top is flat. There is no warping. There do not appear to be any significant losses or lifting to the veneers. The pattern is clearly very intricate and we cannot see any repairs etc. The join down the centre of the table is visible. It is slightly open across the open centre marquetry circular panel. There is however no movement. The main issue with the table is that the base, whilst the correct size and in keeping, is not the correct one. The peg holes do not correctly align and neither does the catch. The shape of the rectangular block is however correct and fits the aperture. The base itself is in generally very good condition with only very minor nibbles in places. It is structurally very sound with no movement at the joints.
A George III mahogany serpentine fronted cutlery box, the lid inlaid with Prince of Wales feathers, having a crossbanded border with fitted interior with boxwood and ebony stringing, the sides with brass carrying handles. 22 cm wide, 37 cm high (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: This piece retains its original interior fitting for forks and cutlery. Generally in nice clean condition however it has had some past repairs. There is a sign of repair along the top rear of the lid and to both the right and left-hand sides of the rear of the lid. Both sets of handles look to have been replaced at some point. The interior is original to the piece. At the very front of the lid there is a very fine age crack and some small chips to the veneer directly above the lock. There is a small section of veneer missing from the rear right-hand corner and also a small section missing from the front right-hand bottom corner. Regardless of the faults mentioned this item still remains attractive, decorative piece of table furniture.

The bottom left hand support beneath the two turned sections has some old woodworm holes. The second support is fine. There is no evidence of any further woodworm anywhere else on the table.
