Numerous scratches throughout (some deep) particularly on the darker leaves. One of the cross bearers has an old repair (as photographed). General scuffs around the legs consistent with age. Table is structurally sound and useable. Table is flat. All clips are present for the leaves.

General scratches consistent with age. Structurally, the legs to the largest table and the second smallest table are slightly weak.

A person of 5ft 10" can comfortably sit under the dining table. The structure of the dining table is very sound in that it is excellent quality mahogany. General scratches (some deep) consistent with age. Drawers to both ends.
A Victorian Gothic Revival Chiming Ebonised Table Clock, signed French, Royal Exchange, London, No. 221193, 19th Century, Gothic Revival case with arched pediment and spire finials, glazed side panels, base with recessed apertures, finely cast gilt bronze scroll and leaf decorated front door, silvered dial with a Roman numeral chapter ring and signed in an oval cartouche to the dial centre, arch with fast/slow selection dial, triple chain fusee movement with an anchor escapement, quarter chiming on a nest of nine bells and striking the hours on a gong, movement backplate signed and numbered, movement secured in the case with brackets, See illustration 57cm highCase ebonised surfaces are rubbed in parts, top side of the case with cracks, front side columns with small chips and the surfaces are dirty in parts, base with small cracks in parts, back door is slightly bowed, dial is clean, hour hand is stuck at the 7 o'clock position, movement needs cleaning, movement with chiming and hour striking not working at present, movement needs a service, with a pendulum.
